A wild boar named Boardeaux once wandered the grounds of the Ferrari-Carano Vineyards of Geyserville.  He was a destructive fellow, but he finally met his death when tempted by an ear of corn.  The legend of Boardeaux is honored here with a 1,300-lb. bronze statue placed outside the garden gates.  According to Italian and Ferrari-Carano legends, Boardeaux (or any wild boar) will bring you luck if you rub its snout.  Before strolling through this unforgettable garden, you’ll see that visitors and their wishes have kept the boar’s snout polished.
